GL1 Lining Stud / Channel Section (Wall Lining), made from galvanised mild steel is used vertically for wall lining. It is unsuitable for use in an area where there is damp, wet or humid conditions.

Installation Guidance

Preparation: Fix GL8 track to floor and ceiling as base and head channels before inserting GL1 studs.

Stud positioning: Insert studs into the track and align with GL2 brackets fixed to the substrate at specified centres.

Alignment checks: Ensure studs are plumb and framework is square to achieve a straight and even wall surface.
