British Gypsum Thistle Bonding Coat, a multi-purpose undercoat plaster formulated for smooth or low suction backgrounds including dense blockwork, concrete, tiling, plasterboard, and surfaces pre-treated with Thistle Bond-it.
Supplied as a pre-mixed gypsum plaster with exfoliated vermiculite aggregate, it only requires the addition of clean water, making it quick and simple to prepare on site.
Its fine, lightweight mix delivers excellent workability, ensuring reliable performance when spreading, ruling, or darbying. The result is a durable, level undercoat that provides a strong, hard-wearing base for British Gypsum finishing plasters, producing a surface ready for decoration.
It can be applied directly to plasterboard where dubbing out is needed, or used in refurbishment projects to restore and level existing internal walls and ceilings.
We provide a next working day delivery service on most orders placed before 4:00pm (Monday to Friday), delivered straight to your site, home or office. Orders placed after 4:00pm or over the weekend will be dispatched the next working day.
